Stay and Play
Unfortunately, our Stay and Play groups are currently suspended due to the on-going COVID 19 situation. Although the groups are suspended, please do feel free to contact Fiona Bonnette to discuss future Stay and Play sessions.
We offer two different sessions at school every Monday during term time which are led by Fiona Bonnette.
The morning session takes place from 9.30am to 11.30pm and aims to support and engage children who are not up and about on their feet yet and need 'tummy time' and the space to feel safe. We have access to soft play and sensory rooms, and a quiet activity room should children need some time out from the group environment.
The afternoon session takes place from 1.30pm to 3pm and is geared towards those children who are walking and running around and are active and energetic learners.
We have a lovely outside area which is set up to cater for all children and their interests. This includes a 'messy zone' where we have a mud kitchen and a large area to explore a wide range of messy play activities. There are covered areas in case of rain and cosy, sensory areas for singing, playing musical instruments and sitting together for stories.
Siblings are welcome provided they are pre-school age.
Our aim for parents and carers is:
- to give parents and carers the opportunity to meet with us in our setting and get to know us.
- to enable parents and carers to share experiences with others in similar situations.
- to help parents and carers to find out about our school and what we have to offer families as children grow and develop.
- to enable parents and carers to access workshops and courses as they become available.
