The school was judged to be ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in September 2013, referring to the inspirational leadership and teaching within the school. We are absolutely delighted to have been judged as outstanding in all four aspects which were inspected.
Strong partnerships are in place with parents and carers and outcomes are outstanding at every stage from when pupils enter to when they leave school. We continue to strive for excellence in spite of funding restrictions.
The action point arising from the Ofsted inspection to further improve the school is to:
"Ensure that the planning for the continuous development of the school is fully implemented so that, as younger pupils with increasingly complex needs move into the upper part of the school, the facilities and accommodation remain first class and are able to meet their greater needs equally successfully.'
